Gluten Free Pizza Dough

This dough is simple to make. We use this dough to make pizzas and panzerottis, works great for both.

Ingredients:

2 cups lukewarm water

1 pinch sugar

2 tablespoons olive oil

5 1/4 cups 1-1 Gluten Free Flour (if using regular gluten free flour don't forget to add Xanthan Gum to it, info also on the blog for it)

1 1/2 teaspoons salt

In the bowl of your stand-up mixer add warm water then add yeast and sugar, let sit for 5 minutes, then stir to combine.

Add the olive oil, flour, and salt, with the hook attachment start to combine on low speed, scrape the hook and then raise to medium speed and knead for approximately 5 minutes or until you have a smooth elastic dough (you might have to scrape the hook halfway through kneading).

Place in a lightly oiled bowl and cover with plastic wrap and a large clean kitchen towel, leave in a warm draft- free place until doubled in bulk, approximately 2 hours.

Preheat oven to 450°. Punch dough down a few times and divide into 3 balls let dough rest for 15 minutes.

Place dough in desired pizza pans, Top with your favorite toppings.

Bake for 17 minutes.

**Home made sauce recipe on the blog too.
